Märchenzauber in Neuwied am Rhein
Die Brüder Grimm-Gesellschaft und die Bibliotheca Mythica haben sich nach ihrem Umzug vom Brüder Grimm-Platz 4 in die Humboldtstraße 6 im Brüder Grimm-Zentrum Kassel neu aufgestellt. Von hier reisen die Brüder Jacob, Wilhelm und Ludwig Emil Grimm jetzt wieder vermehrt um die Welt.
Unter dem Titel„Märchenzauber“ präsentieren wir aktuell vom 9. Juli bis 29. September 2025 eine große neue Ausstellung in der Stadtgalerie zu Neuwied (ehem.Mennonitenkirche direkt am Rhein gelegen, erbaut 1768 und 1994 nach einemverheerenden Brand als Ausstellungshaus hergestellt); gezeigt werden aus den Kasseler Sammlungen mehr als 250 herausragende Dokumente und Kunstwerke vom 16. bis 21. Jahrhundert. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die „Kinder- und Hausmärchen“, die auf Antrag der Brüder Grimm-Gesellschaft im Sommer 2005 in das Welterbe der UNESCO aufgenommen wurden.
Die gleichermaßen für Kinder und Erwachsene konzipierte Ausstellung ist von Mittwoch bis Freitag von 14 – 18 Uhr, an Samstagen sowie Sonn- und Feiertagen von 12 – 18 Uhr geöffnet.
The Association of the Brothers Grimm and the Bibliotheca Mythica have reorganized their offices following their move from Brüder Grimm-Platz 4 to Humboldtstraße 6 in the Brothers Grimm Center in Kassel. From here, the brothers Jacob, Wilhelm and Ludwig Emil Grimm are now increasingly traveling around the world.
A major new exhibition entitled „Magic of Fairy Tales“ is currently being presented at the City Gallery Neuwied (on the Rhine river) from July 9 to September 29, 2025. It features more than 250 outstanding documents and works of art from the 16th to the 21st centuries from the Kassel collections. The focus is on the “Children’s and Household Tales,” which were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in the summer of 2005 at the request of the Association of the Brothers Grimm.
The exhibition, designed for children and adults alike, is open from Wednesday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
L’Association des Frères Grimm et la Bibliotheca Mythica ont réorganisé leurs bureaux suite à leur déménagement du Brüder Grimm-Platz au Humboldtstraße à Kassel. De là, les frères Jacob, Wilhelm et Ludwig Emil Grimm multiplient les voyages à travers le monde.
Une nouvelle exposition majeure intitulée « La Magie des Contes de Fées » est actuellement présentée par l’Association des Frères Grimm à la Galerie Municipale de Neuwied (Rhin) du 9 juillet au 29 septembre 2025. Elle présente plus de 250 documents et œuvres d’art exceptionnels du XVIe au XXIe siècle, issus des collections de Cassel. L’accent est mis sur les « Contes d’ enfance et du foyer », inscrits au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO à l’été 2005 à la demande de l’Association des Frères Grimm.
L’exposition, destinée aux enfants comme aux adultes, est ouverte du mercredi au vendredi à partir de 14h. jusqu’à 18h, et les samedis, dimanches et jours fériés de 12h à 18h.
